CS Bargaining Update #26: Agreement !

To all Proud CS

Working late into the night of March 1st, your Bargaining Team met with Treasury Board and finally reached a tentative agreement.CSteam

We have made clear from the start of negotiations that a deal would depend on movement from the Employer on our 3 pillars.  Those pillars are Career Development and Training, Technological Change, and of course Contracting Out.  We have been able to negotiate new language that improves the position of the Group going into the next round.

More information will be made available early next week and we appreciate your patience. Please find below, the details on the economic increase.

Economic increase :

Effective December 22, 2014 – Increase to rates of pay: 1.25%
Effective December 22, 2015 – Increase to rates of pay: 1.25%
Effective April 1, 2016 – 1.0% wage adjustment for the CS-01, CS-02, CS-03 and CS-04 levels.
Effective December 22, 2016 – Increase to rates of pay: 1.25%
Effective December 22, 2017 – Increase to rates of pay: 1.25%
