The AV Group National Bargaining Team is holding its 3rd round of bargaining with Treasury Board from April 14 to 16, 2015 at the Ottawa Delta City Centre hotel. That same week, the CS Group will be involved in its 2nd round of bargaining with the employer.

Edmonton CS Sub-Group, April 2014

The Edmonton CS subgroup will be holding their AGM in April 2014.  At the AGM attendees will be voting on adopting new constitution for the subgroup.  Please review the attached draft constitution.  Any questions regarding the draft consitution can be brought up at the AGM.  An announcement for the AGM will be forthcoming shortly.

URGENT: Potential Alternation Opportunities

Dear CS member,


Although it is the employer’s obligation to market its surplus employees to other departments, and to provide sufficient forums for addressing WFA issues such as alternation, it is our opinion that  more can be done to meet these requirements.  As a result, some of our members may be forced to leave the Public Service involuntarily, while others who wish to leave cannot do so as an "opting employee".

The CS Group, in collaboration with PIPSC and the Hull and Portage sub-groups, are organizing a gathering for the Day of protest against Federal Computer Services' Outsourcing.

Annual Sub-Group President Meeting

The CS Group Executive would like to cordially invite all of our CS Sub Group Presidents to Montréal (Québec) on April 28th, 2012 for our Annual Sub Group Presidents Meeting.

As you know, the CS Group is in bargain for our next collective agreement and the CS Sub Groups are playing a very important role in this round of negotiations in helping to ensure that we get the best possible deal for our members.

phoca thumb l 20110312 sgThis meeting is going to finish the Mission Statement start last year. And we will discuss a number of interesting topics, like the relationship between a sub-group and the group and provide some relevant information, like guidelines on spending and what.

We hope that all Sub Group Presidents or their delegated representative can participate in the meeting which is being held at the Delta Centre-Ville in Montréal (QC) on April 28th, 2012. The meeting is not yet in the PIPSC Travel Module however you will be notified when it is so that you can make your travel arrangements.

The Sub Group Officer and the Sub Group Regional Representatives will be meeting early in the New Year to plan the agenda for the Sub Group Presidents meeting.
